All tenants are subject to credit approval

BondAssist does not approve high-risk tenants.

Tenant vetting includes: Veda Credit Score, past Tenancy Tribunal orders, bankruptcy, verification of ID, Summary Instalment orders and No Asset Protection orders.

Once a tenant is approved they are issued with a BondAssist Passport (Approval Notice) for presentation to their landlord.

Tenants have a clear commitment to care for the rented property. Any successful claim is recovered back from the Tenant via a Counter Indemnity Agreement. We do not require assignment of a Tribunal Order to effect recovery.
