Relax with up to 5 weeks Bond cover
BondAssist is a Guarantee issued by CBL Insurance Limited to guarantee the performance of Tenant(s) under a signed Residential Tenancy Agreement.
The Guarantee is compliant under the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 2010 and provides the Landlord with up to 5 weeks bond cover or $5,000 (whichever is less).
At the end of the Tenancy, the Landlord can claim against the Guarantee where the Tenant(s) have breached the terms of the Tenancy Agreement.
The Guarantee lasts the term of the Tenancy (up to 3 years), is transferable between tenancies, is paid for by the tenant (single fee at start of tenancy), can be combined with a traditional bond, and is irrevocable (cannot be cancelled by anyone but the Landlord once issued).
